The West Central Trojan girls soccer team will be looking for their third straight South Dakota Class A title on Saturday, October 15th. The Trojans advanced to the state title match after a 4-0 win over the Vermillion Tanagers on Saturday, October 8th. West Central used a big first half to secure the shutout win. They scored three goals in the first half and added one more the second half.
The Trojans entered the state tournament bracket as the #1 seed again this season with a 12-0-1 regular season. West Central only allowed two goals against them all season long.
The 2022 South Dakota Class A Girls Soccer championship match will be held in Tea on October 15th. The Trojans will play the #2 seed Tea Area Titans as they try for their third straight title and sixth in the last seven years.
