Turnovers and Cold Shooting Sink Mustang Boys

The Tri-Valley Mustang boys had an off night offensively against the Canton C-Hawks on Tuesday, January 24th.  Tri-Valley was held to single digit scoring in each of the first two quarters and committed 21 turnovers in a 70-42 loss.

Canton only led 10-8 at the end of the first quarter.  The Mustangs scored the first basket of the second quarter to tie the game 10-10 with 7:30 to play in the first half.  The C-Hawks finished the first half on a 22-5 run for a 32-15 lead at halftime.  They extended their lead to 58-28 by the end of the third quarter.

Noah Haynes led the team in scoring with nine points and also had eight rebounds.  Brady Benson finisehd with seven points.  Trey Johnson had five points, five rebounds, four steals, and two blocked shots.  Landon Hughes also had five points.
