The 2022-2023 Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team might be young, but they return six state qualifiers from a year ago. The team will be led by two senior state qualifiers Lawson Loiseau and Mason Hendrixson. Isaac Nehlich (6th last year), Bordy Dybvig (5th last year), Cole Hendrixson (8th last year), and Treyson Richter (qualifier) also return to the program.
“We have a lot of young talent in the room that is eager to have their opportunity to step on the varsity mat. The Mustang wrestlers are going to show a lot of growth in the season, and it will be exciting to see how they progress through the season,” said head coach Mike Gibson.
Tri-Valley will participate in the Dell Rapids tournament on Saturday, December 3rd to start the season.
