The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team started their 2022 season with a sixth place finish at the “Top of the Rock” tournament in Dell Rapids on Saturday, December 3rd. The Mustangs finished with 70 team points.
Jackson Williams (113) finished second with a 2-1 record. Cole Hendrixson (126) and Mason Hendrixson (182) both had a third place finish with a 3-1 record. Braxton Kirsetein (106B) placed fourth with a 1-2 record. Treyson Richter (132), Lawson Loiseau (145), and Brody Dybvig (152) all placed fourth with a 2-2 records in the tournament.
Owen Effling (126) and Landyn Reiser (160) both had a 1-2 record for the day. Owen Bunde (106), Cody Lofswold (120), and Everet Althoff (194) were all 0-2.
The Mustangs will host a quadrangular on Tuesday, December 6th.
