Tri-Valley Volleyball Ready for Improvement in 2022

The Tri-Valley Mustang volleyball team finished 1-23 last season.  Last year’s team was young and was trying to replace five key seniors from 2020.  Throughout the season, they were able to compete and take sets from strong volleyball programs, which has them excited for the 2022 season.

The Mustangs return a majority of their varsity roster from last season.  Brookelyn Stieben, Megan Wenzel, Erica Bicknase, Ava Pearson, Allisyn Ruth, Erika Beck, Lauren Grinde, Nevaeh Grann, Madelyn Wenzel, and Kenzie Atwood will play key roles this season.

“The girls have put in the time and practice this summer in which we are confident will lead to better results on the court.  Both our region and conference contain quality volleyball programs which will provide us with a strong and challenging schedule.  We hope that by the middle of October we are playing our best volleyball going into region play,” said head coach Justin Nihart.

The Mustangs start the 2022 season at home against Garretson on Tuesday, August 23rd.
