The Tri-Valley Mustang volleyball team played in the Dak-12 Conference Tournament at West Central High School on Saturday, October 15th. The Mustangs finished the tournament with a 1-3 record.
Tri-Valley started the tournament with a win over the West Central Trojans. The win put them into the next round in a match-up against the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers. The Chargers won in straight sets by scores of 25-11 and 25-13.
The Mustangs finished the day in consolation bracket. Their next match was against the Dell Rapids Quarriers. The Mustangs won the first set 25-23, but Dell Rapids won the next two sets 25-14 and 25-19. The final match for Tri-Valley was against the Madison Bulldogs. Again Tri-Valley won the first set 25-15, but the Bulldogs won the next two, 25-14 and 25-17, to win the match.
