Tri-Valley Maroon 16U scored in every inning and cruised to an 18-3 win in four innings over Canton at home on Monday, July 8th.
After Canton took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, Tri-Valley scored two times in the bottom of the first and five runs in the bottom of the second for a 7-1 lead. Canton added two runs in the top of the third to cut the lead to 7-3, but it was all Tri-Valley after that. They scored four in the third and seven more in the fourth to end the game on the 15-run rule.
Parker Hemme had a single and five RBIs in the game. Alex Wingen, Jackson Williams, and Kaiden Bernards all had a hit and one RBI each. Brody Dybvig had a double. Brechen Frederick finished with a single. Parker Atwood pitched four innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on two hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
