Tri-Valley Maroon 14U Takes Two from Madison White

Tri-Valley Maroon 14U took two exciting games from Madison White in a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 9th.

Tri-Valley Maroon 8, Madison White 7

Daniel Richardson delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to give Tri-Valley Maroon a walk-off win in the first game.  Madison got a run in the top of the first for an early lead.  Tri-Valley scored twice in their half of the inning for a 2-1 advantage.  After a scoreless second inning, Madison went ahead 4-2 with a three-run third inning.  Tri-Valley responded with a run in the bottom of the inning for a 4-3 score.  Both teams scored two runs in the fourth, and Madison led 6-5.  Tri-Valley tied the game, 6-6, with a run in the bottom of the fifth.  Madison, however, regained the lead in the top of the sixth with a run.

Cooper Durick had a triple and double with an RBI.  Lawson Schneiderman had two singles with an RBI.  Cooper Nielsen also had two hits.  Richardson had a single and two RBIs.  Garrit Koopman and Dante Nehman both had a hit and an RBI.  Jaxson Rise and M McGill added a single each, while Evan Focken had an RBI.  Focken pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed three runs, one earned, on two hits and five walks with five strikeouts.  Abbott Moeller pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed four runs, two earned, on a hit and five walks with four strikeouts.

Tri-Valley also won the second game 8-6.
