Tri-Valley Maroon 14U Gets Home Win over Madison Black

After trailing early in the game, Tri-Valley Maroon scored in three straight innings to get a 14-4 win over Madison Black at home on Wednesday, June 21st.

Madison broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the top of the second inning.  Tri-Valley grabbed the lead with four runs in the bottom of the third.  Madison would tie the game with a single run in the top of the fourth.  That’s when Tri-Valley finished the game with 10 straight runs.  Tri-Valley scored three times in the bottom of the fourth and then ended then ended the game on the 10-run rule with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Jaxson Rise had two hits and three RBIs.  Treyson Richter had two hits, one a triple, and two RBIs.  Cooper Durick also had two hits and an RBI.  Abbott Moeller and Parker Atwood both finished with a single and two RBIs each.  Maddux McGill added a single and an RBI.  Cooper Nielsen and Sullivan Snethen both had a hit.  Owen Bunde and Lawson Schneiderman each had a single.

Durick pitched 1 1/3 innings allowing three runs, two earned, on one hit and five walks.  Rise pitched 2 2/3 innings allowing an unearned run on three walks with two strikeouts.  Moeller pitched one inning walking one batter and striking out one.
