Tri-Valley Girls Even Record with Big Win over Baltic

The Tri-Valley Mustang girls evened their record to 4-4 after a big 70-12 win over the Baltic Bulldogs on Monday, January 13th.

The Mustangs built a double-digit lead, 15-4, by the end of the first quarter.  They were able to extend that lead to 30-9 by halftime.  The Tri-Valley defense held the Bulldogs scoreless in the third quarter, and the Mustangs led 50-9 going into the final quarter.

Tri-Valley shot 38% (26-68) overall in the game, 31% (9-29) on three-point attempts, and 60% (9-15) from the free-throw line.  Baltic finished the game shooting just 3-29 overall, 1-17 on three-point shots, and 5-9 from the free-throw line.  The Mustangs forced 26 Baltic turnovers, 20 of those on steals.

Hailey Sorenson finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Peyton Vogt had 10 points and four rebounds.  Rowyn Gacke added nine points, three rebounds, and three steals.  Abigail Wagner also had nine points and four rebounds.  Maddie Wenzel ended with six points and six rebounds.
