Tri-Valley Falls to #1 Chester

The Tri-Valley Mustang volleyball team traveled to Chester to face the Class B #1 Flyers on Tuesday, October 7th.  The Flyers won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-5, 25-12, and 25-12.

Chester led by just a point early in the opening set, 3-2.  They quickly extended that lead to 12-4 and then went on a 10-0 run to make the score 22-4 before winning 25-5.  After a 1-1 tie to start the second set, the Flyers went on an 8-3 run for a 9-4 advantage.  They extended the lead to 11-5 and then 15-6.  The lead reached 10 points, 22-12, before Chester scored the final three points.  Another run early in the third set gave Chester the victory.  They led 3-2 and then went on a 9-1 run for a 12-3 advantage.  The Flyers extended the lead to 19-8 and eventually won 25-12.

Kadence Davey had 15 digs, two ace serves, and a block.  Peyton Vogt ended with 11 digs and six kills.  Brooke Steineke also had 11 digs.  Emry Jones added four kills.
