Both Tri-Valley 14U White and Hyvee put lots of runs on the board in the first two innings, and it was Tri-Valley that got the 13-10 win on Monday, July 15th.
Tri-Valley scored two runs in the top of the first inning for an early 2-0 lead. Hyvee responded with five runs in the bottom of the inning to go in front 5-2. Tri-Valley had a big top of the second inning, scoring eight times to regain the lead 10-5. HyVee would answer with another five-run inning to tie the game 10-10. Tri-Valley, however, kept scoring. They added a run in the third and two more in the fourth while holding Hyvee scoreless in the final two innings for the win.
Kadyn King had a double with two RBIs. Elliot Powell and Landon Sadler both had a single with an RBI. Jaxton Rinehart finished with a single. Connor Bannwarth and Wyatt Callies each had one RBI.
