The Tri-Valley Mustang track team made the trip to Garretson for the Jesse James Track Meet on Saturday, April 12th.
Emry Jones won both the 110m hurdles in :16.52. Peyton Vogt took the top spot in the 300m hurdles with a time of :50.27 and third in the 100m hurdles in :18.11. Kadence Davey won the javelin with a throw of 114’8″. The 4x200m relay team of Vogt, Jaidyn McMillen, Jones, and Ava Christensen was third in a time of 2:00.07. Lauren Dittbenner placed fourth in the 300m hurdles in :56.14. The 4x100m relay team of McMillen, Jones, Mattie Huwe, and Katrina Fluth placed fourth in :54.61. The sprint medley relay team of Dittbenner, Huwe, Tyler Gibson, and Rowyn Gacke was also fourth with a time of 5:07.14.
Ty Oyen won the 110m hurdles with a time of :15.80. The 4x100m relay team of Corven Jensen, Oyen, Brechen Frederick, and Owen Effling won with a time of :45.50. The 4x200m relay team of Effling, Oyen, Landyn Reiser, and Jensen also won in a time of 1:36.41. The 4x400m relay team of Teagin Gacke, Reiser, Brady Jewett, and Isaiah Kendig placed first in 3:45.35. Jaxton Rinehart too second in the 3200m run in 11:38.80. Brechen Frederick was second in the 300m hurdles with a time of :47.84. Xavier Yount was second in the javelin with a throw of 118’2″. The sprint medley relay team of Lei Lien, Reiser, Kendig, and Gacke also took second in 3:57.83. Effling placed third in the 100m dash with a time of :11.40.
