Newness Coming for Mustang Boys Basketball

A new gym and new uniforms hope to spark a winning product for the Tri-Valley Mustang boys basketball team this season.

“I think we have some guys coming back who are going to take a big step forward. There will be some new faces at the varsity level, and I’m excited to see what they can contribute to the team. We will look to open up the floor and play fast. Our guys can all do a little bit of everything, so it will be fun to see how we mesh. Our focus will be on playing great individual and team defense, selfless offensive basketball, and setting the tone for a winning culture going forward. If we can do those things and do a better job of taking care of the basketball, I believe we can win a lot of games,” said head coach Brandon Feterl.

The Mustangs finished 5-15 a year go.  This year Tri-Valley will look to seniors Teagin Gacke, Alex Wingen, Landon Hughes, and Aiden Bunde, juniors Tristen Bunde and Ty Oyen, and sophomore Brady Jewett to help lead the team this season.

Tri-Valley opens the 2024-2025 season on the road in Parkston on Friday, December 13th.
