A few members of the Tri-Valley Mustang track team took part in the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th.
The boys 4x100m relay team of Carter Sorenson, Eli McFarland, Owen Effling, and Brody Dybvig placed 11th. Lauren Grinde had a 14th place finish in the javelin. The girls 4x100m relay team of Emry Jones, Jaidyn McMillen, Grinde, and Maddie Wenzel finished 18th.
Jones placed 33rd in the girls 100m hurdles prelims. Sorenson was 38th in the boys 100m prelims, and Ty Oyen was 43rd in the 110m hurdles prelims.
