Greetings Mustang Nation!!

We at Big Sioux Media are beyond excited to be a part of the Tri-Valley family as the new webcast streaming partner for Tri-Valley High School.  This is our 10th year of streaming events.  For those of you who are new to Big Sioux Media, we want to give you information of what you can expect this winter.

First of all, we will be starting out by streaming the HOME girls and boys basketball games (varsity) and HOME wrestling matches (varsity) while we get settled this first winter sports season.  Our hope is to find someone who will be a part of the Big Sioux Media broadcast team who lives in the Tri-Valley area and will be able to be the voice of the Mustangs.  When we find that person, we will work on expanding our coverage to the away games as well.  And we also would love to have some students help broadcast who have an interest in the field.

This sub site of Big Sioux Media, https://bigsiouxmedia.com/tri-valley/ will be the home of everything Mustangs.  We will post write-up stories of each of the games here, have the sports schedules for the girls basketball, boys basketball, and wrestling teams.

This next part is probably the biggest thing for you to know about the webcasts.  We will be using our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/c/Bigsiouxmedia.  For every home game we webcast, we’ll have a video on our YouTube channel for that game.  We’ll also post links on the bottom of this Tri-Valley home page, it will be on the Webcast page (which can be found on the menu of the site), and the video will also be embedded in the page of the game details (which can be found by clicking on the game in the scoreboard widget at the top of the site). But the easiest thing to do is to Subscribe to our YouTube channel.  By doing that, you’ll get alerts when we go live with an event.

The live webcasts will always be free to watch.  However, we do have a membership to our YouTube channel.  For $4.99/month (which is payable to Google/YouTube), you will get access to all the archives of games that we broadcast.  We will be setting up a Tri-Valley Mustang Playlist on our YouTube page as we start doing broadcasts.  You can cancel that membership at any time.  After subscribing to our YouTube channel, you can click Join and go through the steps from there to become a member.  We have found its easiest to do this from a laptop/desktop computer.  The mobile process is very difficult to go through to become a member.  As an added bonus, 10% of all memberships will be given back to the Tri-Valley school at the end of the year.

We also want to let you know that while we won’t be doing play-by-play broadcasts of the junior varsity and junior high games, those will also be streamed to our Big Sioux Media channel through the Hudl camera that is installed in the main gym at Tri-Valley High School.  You can find those games on the Big Sioux Media YouTube channel on game days when the camera goes live.

Another thing we do is put highlight videos together after the season of the games.  We give the seniors one as a graduation gift, and then offer DVDs or Bluray discs for sale to other members of the community.  We will provide information on how to do this towards the end of the basketball seasons.

Big Sioux Media can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  You can find links to like and follow all of those pages right on the front page of https://bigsiouxmedia.com/tri-valley/.  Just click on the social media icon to be taken directly to our social media profiles!

We are really looking forward to being a part of the Tri-Valley Mustang family.  If you own or business, or know a business that would like to be a sponsor of the webcasts, please get in contact with us.  And if you have any questions about anything, please email us at bigsiouxmedia@gmail.com.

Our first broadcast will be the girls and boys basketball double-header against Garretson on Friday, December 10th!
