The Tri-Valley Mustang volleyball team lost their Region 3A match against the second-seeded Baltic Bulldogs on Tuesday, November 1st.
After a 3-3 tie to start the first set, Baltic built a three-point lead at 9-6. The Bulldogs pushed the lead to 21-11. Baltic ended the first set with a 25-15 win.
The two teams went back and forth through the first half of the second set. The score was tied 12-12. Tri-Valley then scored the next two points for a 14-12 lead. The score was tied again at 15-15, but Baltic ended the set on a 10-1 run for a 25-16 win.
The Bulldogs continued the momentum into the start of the third set with a 10-0 run. The Mustangs cut the lead to five points, 23-18, before the Bulldogs won the third set 25-18.
Tri-Valley’s season ends with an overall record of 5-19.
