Mustang Boys Golf Looking to Improve on Record-Breaking Season

The Tri-Valley Mustang boys golf team is looking to build on their record-breaking year from 2025.  Last year the Mustangs qualified as a team for the state tournament for the third time in school history.  They had their highest state finish in school history with an eighth-place finish.

This year’s team will have all five members from last year’s state qualifying team returning – Parker Atwood (senior), Jaxson Rise, Treyson Richter (senior), Jackson Williams (senior), and Connor King.  Seniors Owen Bunde, Dominick Larson, and Tanner Plueger will also help lead the team.

“We have a very positive outlook on the season.  The team is deeper than it has ever been, and it will be a battle each week just to earn a varsity spot for the meets each upcoming week,” said head coach Brandon DeWitt.
