The Tri-Valley White 14U baseball team extended their winning streak to four after picking up two more wins recently. They defeated Scooters SEBA on Wednesday, July 8th and Dell Rapids SEBA on Monday, July 13th.
Tri-Valley 10, Scooters 5
A big fourth inning helped Tri-Valley defeated Scooters last Wednesday. Each team scored a run in the first inning. The score remained 1-1 until the top of the fourth. Tri-Valley scored eight times in the inning to take a 9-1 lead. Each team would then score a run in the sixth inning. Scooters put three runs on the board in the bottom of the seventh, but Tri-Valley stopped the rally there for the win.
Aiden Gunderson had two hits and an RBI. Elijah Strom also had two hits. Trig Tietgen had a double and an RBI. Dom Luening had a single and an RBI. Noah Ketterling, Easton Pullman, and Isaiah Aluong all had one hit each. Charles Binkerd had an RBI. Pullman pitched five innings and allowed an earned run on three hits and two walks with 13 strikeouts. Jude Ellis pitched two innings and allowed four runs, two earned, on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
Tri-Valley 15, Dell Rapids 1
Tri-Valley scored in every inning as they rolled to a big win over Dell Rapids. It started with five runs in the top of the first inning. Dell Rapids got their lone run in the bottom of the first. Tri-Valley then scored two runs in the second, five in the third, and three more in the fourth in the win.
Brady Siemonsma had two hits and two RBIs. Ellis had two hits and an RBI. Strom finished with a double and an RBI. Pullman, Gunderson, Carson Hoenisch, and Xander Sharpe all had a hit and an RBI. Jaxen Kindelspire and Ketterling both had a hit. Pullman pitched four innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk with 10 strikeouts.
