The Tri-Valley White 14U team rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth to lift them to a 9-5 win over Alpha Electric SEBA on Monday, July 6th.
Noah Ketterling broke a scoreless time with an RBI single in the top of the second. Ketterling scored later in the inning for a 2-0 lead. Elijah Strom extended the lead to 4-0 with a two-run home run in the top of the third. Trig Tietgen scored on a dropped third strike in the top of the fourth giving Tri-Valley a 5-0 lead.
Alpha Electric SEBA rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game 5-5. Tri-Valley was able to get the momentum back with two outs in the top of the fifth. Dom Luening had an RBI triple and later scored on a dropped third strike for a 7-5 lead. Jude Ellis scored on a passed ball, and Easton Pullman had an RBI single giving Tri-Valley a 9-5 lead.
Strom finished with a home run and two RBIs. Luening had a triple and an RBI. Ellis, Ketterling, and Pullman all had a single and an RBI. Brady Siemonsma also had a single. Isaiah Aluong and Callen Althoff both had an RBI.
