Tri-Valley 14U White Splits Games on Back-to-Back Nights

The Tri-Valley White 14U baseball team played two games on back-to-back nights on Tuesday, June 30th and Wednesday, July 1st.  They earned a split in those two games.

Madison Gold 14, Tri-Valley 1

Madison scored 12 straight runs over the first three innings on their way to the win.  They scored one in the bottom of the first, eight in the second, and three more in the third for the 12-0 lead.  Carson Hoenisch drew a bases-loaded walk for the lone Tri-Valley run.  Madison put two more runs on the board in the bottom of the fourth.

Elijah Strom finished with two hits.  Noah Ketterling and Xander Sharpe both had one hit each.  Hoenisch had an RBI.

Tri-Valley 6, Colman-Egan 3

Four early runs helped Tri-Valley take a 6-3 win over Colman-Egan.  After a scoreless first inning, Aiden Gunderson had an RBI single, and Easton Pullman followed with a two-run double for an early 3-0 lead.  Strom would score on a passed ball in the top of the third to extend the lead to 4-0.

Colman-Egan picked up two runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead in half, 4-2.  Strom drove home two with a single to push the Tri-Valley lead to 6-2 in the top of the seventh.  Colman-Egan picked up one run in the bottom of the inning.

Strom had two hits with two RBIs.  Kindelspire also had two hits.  Pullman had a double with two RBIs.  Gunderson finished with an RBI single.  Dom Luening and Ketterling each had one hit.  Pullman pitched four innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts.  Jude Ellis pitched three innings and allowed an earned run on two hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
