Tri-Valley White 14U Splits Two

The Tri-Valley White 14U team split their two games on back-to-back days on Wednesday, July 16th and Thursday, July 17th.

Tri-Valley White 12, Paradigm Lumber 11

Jacob Schulte scored on an error in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Tri-Valley White a 12-11 win over Paradigm Lumber.  Paradigm scored a run in the top of the first, but Tri-Valley scored five times in their half of the first for a 5-1 lead.  Paradigm got single runs in both the second and third innings to make the score 5-3.  Tri-Valley added three more runs in the bottom of the third to extend the lead back to five, 8-3.

Paradigm chipped away again getting two runs in the fourth and another in the fifth.  Tri-Valley got those three runs back in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead back to five runs, 11-6.  Paradigm finally tied the game with a five-run top of the sixth inning.  The score stayed 11-11 until Schulte scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

Keegan Wipf had two hits and two RBIs.  Elijah Strom also had two hits with an RBI.  Jaxon Dekker, Schulte, and Aiden Gunderson all had a single with an RBI.  Jaxen Kindelspire, Easton pullman, Xander Sharpe, and Trig Tietgen all had a one hit each.

Bluestone Landscape 8, Tri-Valley White 3

A six-run bottom of the first was all Bluestone Landscape needed in their win over Tri-Valley.  They added another run in the bottom of the third to make the score 7-0.  Each team scored a run in the fifth inning, and Tri-Valley added two more runs in the top of the fifth.

Irshad Kalombo had two hits.  Dekker finished with a single and an RBI.  Sharpe, Gunderson, and Kindelspire all had a hit.  Schulte and Izaac McNamara both had an RBI in the game.
