Teagin Gacke scored made eight three-point shots in the game for the Tri-Valley Mustangs, but Madison was able to withstand the hot shooting for a 65-58 win over the Mustangs on Tuesday, December 17th.
Madison built a six-point lead, 17-11, by the end of the first quarter. Every time Tri-Valley made a run or tied the game, Madison had an answer throughout. The Bulldogs led 29-21 at halftime. Madison was able to maintain the eight-point lead by the end of the third quarter, 43-35, and then hold the lead throughout the fourth quarter.
Gacke finished with 26 points and five rebounds. Brady Jewett had nine points. Tristen Bunde and Ty Oyen both finished with eight points and three rebounds each. Alex Wingen added four points and nine rebounds.
