Tri-Valley White 14U Pulls Away Late in Win

Tri-Valley White 14U scored seven times in the top of the sixth to pull away for a 15-6 win over Restaurant Design Equip & Supply on Monday, July 8th.

RDES held an early lead, 2-0, after scoring a single run in both the first and second innings.  Tri-Valley tied the game 2-2 with two runs in the top of the third.  RDES took the lead again, 3-2, after a run in the bottom of the third.  Tri-Valley then took the lead for good in the top of the fourth.  They scored three runs for a 5-3 lead.  RDES got one run back in the bottom of the inning to make the score 5-4.  Tri-Valley had another three-run inning in the top of the fifth for an 8-4 advantage.   RDES added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth making the score 8-6.  Tri-Valley then had their seven-run sixth inning to pull away for the win.

Wyatt Callies and Mitchell Todd both had two hits and an RBI each.  Cameron Carroll had a single and two RBIs.  Connor Bannwarth, Cooper Swier, and Sean King all had one hit and one RBI each.  Connor King, Jaxton Rinehart, and Callen Althoff all finished with one hit.  Rinehart pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed six runs, four earned, on nine hits and four walks with seven strikeouts.
