The Tri-Valley Mustang boys traveled to Lennox on Monday, February 5th. The Orioles put some distance between themselves and Tri-Valley starting middle of the second quarter on their way to a 73-39 win.
Lennox had a 17-10 lead after the first quarter of play. Tri-Valley got within six points, 21-15, with 5:20 to play in the second quarter. The Orioles then finished the quarter on a 17-6 run for a 38-21 lead at halftime. They carried that momentum into the second half. The Orioles outscored Tri-Valley 35-18 in the final two quarters.
Trey Johnson finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Tristen Bunde added seven points and three rebounds. Alex Wingen also had seven points with two rebounds. Logan Ellison and Landon Hughes both had five points each. Hughes also had two rebounds.
