The Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks were held to just three hits and were shut out by the Canova Gang 7-0 on Tuesday, July 12th. The game was a make-up game from Tuesday, July 5th.
Canova put a run on the board in the bottom of the first and then had a five-run second inning. The score remained 6-0 until the bottom of the seventh when the Gang scored one more run.
Kyle Bailey and Joe Hanisch each had a double. Chad Morrison had a single. Landry Knight pitched two innings and allowed six earned runs on six hits with two walks and a strikeout. Drew Maras pitched five innings and allowed one earned run on seven hits with a strikeout. Cole Barthel pitched one inning and didn’t allow a hit or walk.
