The Bulldogs came home from James Valley Christian on September 20th with a win. De Smet took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-18, and 26-24. The next road trip at Willow Lake was also a win on September 27th. The Bulldogs also defeated the Cyclones in straight sets by scores of 25-18, 25-22, and 29-27.
De Smet then traveled to Estelline to face the Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks on Thursday, September 29th. The Redhawks won in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-10. In the match, Alyssa Asleson, Jada Burke and Olivia Johnson all had an ace serve. Emma Albrecht and Megan Dylla both had five set assists each. Hazel Luethmers finished with 10 kills and six blocks. Burke also had four kills and four blocks. Cori Birkel added five blocks. Ella Poppinga had three digs, and Albrecht finished with two digs.
