The De Smet Bulldog volleyball team won a match and lost a match during the week. De Smet traveled to Lake Preston on Tuesday, October 4th. They then hosted the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Raiders on Thursday, October 6th.
De Smet earned a road victory against the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks on Tuesday. They won the first two sets by the same score of 25-21. They then breezed through the third set 25-11 for the straight-set match win.
The Bulldogs then hosted the Raiders on Thursday, playing a five-set match. The Bulldogs took the first set 25-15. The Raiders won the second set 25-19. De Smet took the set advantage after a 25-23 win in the third. Oldham-Ramona/Rutland gained some momentum with a 25-15 win in the fourth set. That carried into the fifth set as the Raiders won 15-6.
