The Dell Rapids Quarrier Cross Country team had one runner qualify for state at the Region 2A meet on Thursday, October 13th. The girls team finished eighth as a team with 131 points.
Rorie Thoreson qualified for state with an 18th place finish in 21:11.06. Madyn Lacey (35th) had a time of 22:56.01. Mya DeStigter (40th) finished in 23:10.16. Elizabeth Price (41st) had a time 23:15.53. Reagan VanZee (53rd) finished in 25:03.40.
Jackson Peppel (30th) finished in 19:41.57, and Jack Montgomery (52nd) had a time of 21:21.00.
Thoreson will run at the 2022 South Dakota Class A Cross Country meet on Saturday, October 22nd in Huron.
