The Garretson/Dell Rapids Blue Dragon girls soccer team had two matches during the week of Monday, September 14th through Friday, September 18th. Both of the matches were at home. They hosted Vermillion on Tuesday, September 15th and then hosted West Central on Thursday, September 17th.
A big second half helped the Blue Dragons pick up their fourth win of the season on Tuesday against the Tanagers. Garretson/Dell Rapids scored a goal in the first half for a 1-0 lead going into halftime. The offense got rolling in the second half, and the Blue Dragons scored six times for a 7-0 win over Vermillion.
On Thursday the West Central Trojans gave the Blue Dragons a 6-0 setback. West Central scored three times in the first half. They matched that goal total in the second half scoring three more times in the win.
Garretson/Dell Rapids is currently 4-6 on the season.
