The Garretson/Dell Rapids Blue Dragon girls soccer team played two matches in a span of three days. They hosted the Groton Area Tigers on Thursday, August 27th and then traveled to Worthington, MN on Saturday, August 29th. The Blue Dragons finished 1-1 in those two matches.
Groton put three goals on the scoreboard in the first half on Thursday. Garretson scored one time, and the Tigers led 3-1 at halftime. Each team scored a goal in the second half as Groton took the win 4-2.
One goal was all that the Blue Dragons needed on Saturday. Garretson scored a goal in the first half and held off the Worthington Trojans for a 1-0 win.
The Blue Dragons are currently 2-4 on the season.
