The Dell Rapids 14U baseball team pushed their winning streak to nine games after a big 18-3 win over Colman-Egan on Tuesday, June 30th.
Colman-Egan held a lead for a small amount of time. They scored right away in the top of the first. Dell Rapids responded with four in the bottom of the first. They would get eight more runs in the bottom of the second for a 12-1 lead. Colman-Egan got two more runs in the top of the third, but Dell Rapids got a run back in the bottom of the third. They would end the game on the 15-run rule with a five-run bottom of the fourth.
Brody Konz had two hits and two RBIs. Brooks Brende, Dawson Bunkers, and Chace Stroschein all had two hits and an RBI each. Easton Davis also had two hits. Oakley Wolff had a single with two RBIs. Will Price, Maddox Amundson, and Cruz Erickson all had a single and an RBI. McKinley Pierson ended with a double. Nolan Katzer had an RBI.
Wolff pitched three innings and allowed three earned runs on six walks with a strikeout. Konz pitched an inning and gave up a hit and recorded one strikeout.
