Dell Rapids scored in every inning to rolled to a 22-4 win over Tri-Valley 14U White on Tuesday, June 16th.
Each team scored a run in the first inning for a 1-1 score. Dell Rapids then scored two times in the top of the second, five in the third, seven in the fourth, and seven more in the top of the fifth to build a 22-1 lead. Tri-Valley picked up three runs in the bottom of the inning, but the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Easton Davis had three hits, one a double, and three RBIs. Brooks Brende and Brody Konz each had three hits and two RBIs. Chace Stroschein had three hits, one a triple, with an RBI. Will Price had two singles with four RBIs. Maddox Amundson ended with two hits and two RBIs. Hayes Olinger had a single and an RBI. Cruz Erickson and Nolan Katzer each had one hit.
Davis pitched two innings and allowed an earned run on two hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Oakley Wolff also pitched two innings and struck out two batters. Erickson tossed an inning and gave up three runs, one earned, on three walks with a strikeout.
