The Dell Rapids Quarrier cross country team had a good day at the McCook Central/Montrose Cross Country Invite in Salem on Tuesday, September 2nd. The girls team finished third with a total of 27 points. The boys team took fifth with 41 points.
Rorie Thoreson took second individually with a time of 20:13.82. Liz Vogel was 16th in 23:37.58. Madyn Lacey was right behind in 17th place in a time of 23:40.92. Addy Witte took 20th in 24:01.80.
Camden Tebay had a seventh-place finish in 19:00.11. Charlie Person took 16th in 19:48.76. Alex Heinemann (26th) finished in 20:12.24. Nolan Katzer (31st) had a time of 20:37.69. Nolan Carstensen (34th) completed in 21:02.66.
