The I-29 14U season for 2024 is well underway, and Dell Rapids Navy 14U is currently 7-0 in league play this season.
Dell Rapids had three games in May. They defeated Sioux Falls Christian 10-6 on May 20th. Two days later they earned a win over Volga Navy 9-7. To finish the month, Dell Rapids defeated Madison White 9-6 on May 28th.
June started with another game against Madison White on June 4th. This time Dell Rapids got the win 10-7. On June 7th Dell Rapids blanked Flandreau by a score of 5-0. The next day they earned a win over Volga White 6-3. To end the weekend, Dell Rapids got by Tri-Valley Maroon 1-0 on June 9th.
Dell Rapids put 22 runs on the board against West Central Gold on June 11th. Charlie Bollock had three hits and an RBI. Owen Bollock added two hits and an RBI. Bryson Schroeder had a double with three RBIs. Rowdy Bowen and Asher Carpenter both finished with a single and an RBI each. Both Rhett Thoreson and Zach Grochow had three RBIs each. Cutler Erickson and Jace Brende had one RBI. C. Bollock pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on five hits and six walks with five strikeouts. Erickson pitched 1 1/3 innings and recorded three strikeouts.
