The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team had a record number of kids try out for the program and will look to send more golfers to state in 2023. Connor Jones returns as the lone state qualifier from a year ago. Seniors Oscar Anderson, Ryder Van Zee, and Konrad Richeal will help lead the young team.
“My main goals for the team this year is a team trip to the state tournament. We play out of a tough region, however, I believe that this young squad has what it takes to come out of the region with a state tournament berth,” said head coach Riley Duncanson.
The Quarriers will play three tournaments before the first day of school. They travel to Hartford for the West Central Invite on Monday, August 14th, and then to Madison on Tuesday, April 15th. Dell Rapids hosts their invite on Monday, August 21st at Rocky Run Golf Course.
