The Dell Rapids Quarrier cross country team competed in the McCook Central/Montrose Cross Country Invite in Salem on Tuesday, September 1st. The boys team finished fifth with 73 points. Two runners finished in the top 10.
Rorie Thoreson finished second with a time of 19:57.62. Addy Witte finished 16th with a time of 23:11.34. Liz Vogel placed 21st with a time of 23:24.16.
Camden Tebay had a seventh-place finish with a time of 18:17.29. Nolan Carstensen (21st) had a time of 19:16.33. Nolan Katzer (22nd) was seconds behind with a time of 19:20.11. Alex Heinemann (36th) competed in 20:32.86. Thomas Christensen (38th) had a time of 20:38.67. Eli Gauthier (41st) had a time of 20:54.02, and Charlie Person (42nd) finished in 21:11.21.
