The Garretson Blue Dragon girls soccer team earned a draw and a win in their final two regular season matches of the year. Garretson hosted Marshall, MN on Tuesday, September 30th and then hosted Worthington, MN on Thursday, October 2nd.
In the match against Marshall on September 30th, Garretson was able to earn a draw. The final score ended 2-2. The offense had a huge day for the Blue Dragons against Worthington on October 2nd. Garretson netted nine goals in a 9-0 shutout win to end the regular season.
The Blue Dragons had a 4-8-1 record during the regular season. They are the sixth-seed in the playoffs and will travel to play #3 St Thomas More on Tuesday, October 7th. The two teams played on August 16th with the Cavaliers winning 2-1. The playoff match will start at 3:00 p.m. at Black Hills Rapid Soccer Club Dakota Fields.
