The Dell Rapids Volleyball team kept the winning streak going with three more wins at the Hamlin Tournament on Saturday, September 20th. Dell Rapids earned wins over Groton, Sisseton, and Hamlin.
The Quarriers faced the Tigers of Groton in the first match. The first set needed an extra point with Dell Rapids winning 26-24. They took the second set 25-17 for the match win. Dell Rapids then had no trouble with Sisseton. The Quarriers won in two sets by the same 25-12 score in each. The final match of the day was against the Hamlin Chargers. The Chargers won the first set 25-19. Dell Rapids took the second set 25-22 to force the third. The Quarriers would also win the third set 25-19 for the match win.
Madelynn Henry finished with 33 kills, 21 digs, and three set assists total for the tournament. Sylea Sykes added 22 kills, 21 digs, and 12 set assists. Peyton Hohn had 19 kills and three blocks. Elin Schoenhard had 13 kills, three digs, and three set assists. Alaina Wolff had 17 digs, nine set assists, adn five ace serves. Tenley Anderson added 66 set assists, 16 digs, and three ace serves. Karli Ingalls finished with 10 kills, five digs, and four blocks.
