Dell Rapids PBR earned a 4-3 come-from-behind win over the Flandreau Blue Teal on Sunday, June 29th.
W Hansen put PBR ahead 1-0 with an RBI single in the bottom of the third. Flandreau took the lead in the top of the fourth, 3-1, with three runs. N Nichols hit an RBI double to pull PBR within a run, 3-2, in the bottom of the fourth. The score remained 3-2 until the bottom of the sixth. Nichols tied the game with an RBI single. R Hoffman put PBR in front two batters later with an RBI single.
Nichols finished with a double and single with two RBIs. Hoffman added a double and single as well with an RBI. Hansen had two hits and an RBI. Drew Sweeter, Grant Sweeter, and Beau Behrend all had one hit each. Trey Randel pitched 7 1/3 innings and allowed three runs, all unearned, on nine hits and four walks with five strikeouts.
