The Dell Rapids Navy 14U baseball team cruised past Baltic with a 21-5 victory on Friday, June 20th.
Dell Rapids scored 10 times in the top of the first. Baltic only got two runs in the bottom of their inning. After a scoreless second, Dell Rapids had six more runs in the third to go ahead 16-2. Baltic had a run in the bottom of the third. Dell Rapids kept rolling with another run in the fourth and four more in the fifth. Baltic finished with two more runs in the bottom of the fifth before the game ended on the 10-run rule.
AJ Brandenburg had four hits and five RBIs. Haiden Kaffer had two hits, one a double, with an RBI. Will Price had a double and two RBIs. Easton Davis added a single with two RBIs. Owen Bollock also had a double and an RBI. Kason Lebahn and Hayden King both had one RBI each.
Brandenburg pitched all five innings and allowed five runs, but just two earned, on four hits and five walks with four strikeouts.
