The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team competed in their final regular season meet at the Tri-Valley Last Chance Meet on Thursday, May 22nd. The girls team finished sixth with 67 points. The boys team placed eighth with 43.5 points.
Vivica Kreul was second in the discus with a throw of 105’0″. Clara Justice placed third in the 100m hurdles with a time of :16.41. Claire Witte took fourth in the high jump at 4’6″. Elizabeth Krantz was fourth in the long jump with a jump of 14’10.25″. Alaina Wolff was fourth in the 200m dash with a time of :27.60.
Jackson Peppel won the javelin with a throw of 141’8″. Carson Maeschen placed fourth in the shot put at 44’4″. Karson Paye was fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5’8″. The 4x200m relay team of Peppel, Grady Lamer, Drake Easman, and Cole Ruesink had a third-place finish with a time of 1:33.69.
