Dell Rapids Baseball Ends Regular Season with Shutout

The Dell Rapids high school baseball team ended the 2025 regular season with a 10-0 win over Tri-Valley on Wednesday, May 14th.  Tad Tjaden pitched all six innings allowing just two hits without a walk while striking out 11 batters.

Dell Rapids scored a single run in both the first and second innings and then plated two runs in the bottom of the third for a 4-0 lead.  After a scoreless fourth inning, Dell Rapids scored three times in the bottom of the fifth.  They added three more in the bottom of the sixth to end the game on the 10-run rule.

Drake Eastman finished with two hits and three RBIs.  Tjaden also had two singles and two RBIs.  Cooper Frost added two hits, including a double, with an RBI.  Connor Hanson had a single with an RBI, and Talan Millage also had a single.

Dell Rapids finishes the regular season with a 20-5 overall record.
