The Dell Rapids Quarrier softball team blanked the Lennox Orioles 10-0 on Thursday, May 8th at home. Dell Rapids scored two in the first, third, and fifth innings for a 6-0 lead. The game came to an end on the 10-run rule after Dell Rapids scored four more times in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Katie Kvigne had three hits, including a home run, with three RBIs. Elly Olson also had three hits, one a double, with three RBIs. Emma Lanpher added a double. Lexi Scherff, Paige Trewin, and Rylee Halverson all had one hit each. Sylea Sykes had an RBI.
Kvigne pitched all six innings and allowed three hits and a walk with 12 strikeouts.
