The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team had three top 10 finishes at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd.
The boys 4x100m relay team of Drake Eastman, Grady Lamer, Nick Snyder, and Cole Ruesink placed fourth with a time of :43.83. The girls 4x400m relay team of Alaina Wolff, Brielle Hilmoe, Clara Justice, and Rorie Thoreson placed sixth in 4:11.40. The girls sprint medley relay team of Wolff, Elly Olson, Justice, and Thoreson also placed sixth with a time of 4:18.55.
Thoreson also finished the 400m dash (22nd) in 1:00.59 and the 1600m run (39th) in 5:23.41. Justice competed in the 100m hurdles (42nd) and finished in :16.52. Jackson Peppel was in the javelin (37th) and had a throw of 124’5″. The boys 4x400m relay team of Connor Hanson, Peppel, Will Ronshaugen, and Lamer placed 14th with a time of 3:33.66.
