The Dell Rapids Quarrier track teams competed in the Rich Luther Relays in Lennox on Tuesday, May 6th.
Rorie Thoreson won the 400m dash in :59.78. The 4x800m relay team of Kirti Pickard, Liz Vogel, Tyalor Schmidt, and Brielle Hilmoe won with a time of 10:58.44. Vivica Kreul was second in the discus with a throw of 106’5″. The 4x200m relay team of Alaina Wolff, Josie Price, Elly Olson, and Clara Justice placed second in 1:52.94. Wolff took third in the 100m dash in :13.09 and third in the 200m dash with a time of :27.50. Clara Justice was fourth in the 100m hurdles in :16.21.
The 4x100m relay team of Drake Eastman, Grady Lamer, Nick Snyder, and Cole Ruesink took the top spot with a time of :44.17. The 4x200m relay team of Jackson Peppel, Lamer, Eastman, and Ruesink also won with a time of 1:31.54. Peppel was second in the javelin with a throw of 150’6″. The 4x400m relay team of Connor Hanson, Peppel, Lamer, and Will Ronshaugen was second in a time of 3:34.05. Carson Maeschen placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 47’9.5″. Jack Kloth placed fourth in the high jump at 5’10”. Ronshaugen was fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 40’8″.
