The Dell Rapids high school baseball team scored in every inning, and Drake Eastman held the McCook Central Burrows hitless in a 10-0 win in five innings on Sunday, May 4th.
Dell Rapids scored two in the bottom of the first inning and three more in the bottom of the second for a 5-0 lead. The offense kept rolling. They added a run in the bottom of the third, three more in the fourth, and then one in the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Eastman and Cole Ruesink both had two hits each. Carson Maeschen had a double with an RBI. Cooper Frost, Talan Millage, and Ryan Brandenburg all had a single and an RBI each. Tad Tjaden also had an RBI. Eastman threw all five innings allowing just two walks while striking out 10 batters.
