The Dell Rapids Quarriers rolled to a 19-0 win over the Arlington Cardinals on Tuesday, April 8th.
The Quarriers put four runs on the board in the top of the first inning or an early 4-0 lead. They would score nine more times in the second inning, and then had six runs in the top of the third for a 19-0 lead. The game would end at the end of the third inning on the 15-run rule.
Kative Kvigne pitched all three innings without allowing a hit and walking one batter while recording eight strikeouts. Emma Lanpher had three doubles and four RBIs in the game. Rylee Halverson had two singles and two RBIs. Lexi Scherff added two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Paige Trewin had two singles and an RBI. Ella Johnson finished with a single and two RBIs. Elly Olson had a double and an RBI. Kvigne and Josie Price both had a single with an RBI. Emily Baker added a double, and Kayleigh Gillette had an RBI.
