The Dell Rapids High School baseball team won the 2024 State B Championship with an 27-0 record outside of their trip to Oklahoma and a 28-2 overall record last season.
This year the team returns key members in Tad Tjaden, Cole Ruesink, Talan Millage, Lincoln Fersdahl, and Drake Eastman. Other members of the team that should slide into roles and make substantial contributions this year are Carson Maeschen, Ryan Brandenburg, Lincoln LeBrun, Cooper Frost, Quinn Carr, and Jackson Ahlers.
“We are hoping to improve enough during the season to have a chance to compete for another state championship,” said head coach Danny Miller.
