The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls basketball team returns all of their starters from last season. Dell Rapids finished the 2023-2024 season with an overall record of 2-19.
“We gained a lot of experience having such a young team last year, and we can only build from there,” said head coach Nicole Pankonen.
Seniors Elly Olson and Clara Justice will help provide leadership for this year’s team. Rorie Thoreson will also return as the point guard this year with another year of experience. Jersi Schultz returns after gaining a lot of experience last year. Mya DeStigter will look to shoot the long ball this year.
“We will have a strong bench this year, so look for girls rotating as the season progresses,” added Pankonen.
Dell Rapids opens the 2024-2025 season on the road in Beresford on Saturday, December 7th.
